The Tilbury House Debating Society, the VDCH and Bürger Europas e.V. are organizing a special debate at the University of Cologne. Stefan Engstfeld, spokesperson on Europe of the Green Party in the Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia, and Holger Böhne (Tilbury House) are debating against Dr. Ingo Wolf, Spokesperson on Europe of the FPD in the Landtag of North Rhine-Westfalia and former minister of the interior in North Rhine-Westfalia, and Leonard Münstermann (Tilbury House). The motion will be: „Less market, more social affairs – does the EU take charge of the wrong issues?“
The debate will be in German and it will take place on July 12th at 7 pm at the Tagungsraum 004 in the Seminargebäude of the University of Cologne. Students and other guest are welcomed to listen and to actively take part by asking questions. After the debate, there will the opportunity to talk to the two politicians as well as members of the Tilbury House Debating Society while having some free drinks.
