When getting into debating, newcomers are confronted with a sophisticated set of rules, techniques and principles which British Parliamentary Style Debating brings along. In order to dive more smoothly into the world of debating, the Tilbury House Senior Council has forged a comprehensive Newcomer Workshop to cover every essential aspect of debating.
So on November 23, Tilbury House welcomed 12 interested young debaters who participated actively in the Newcomer Workshop making it a beneficial experience for everybody in attendence. After a long day of discussing arguments and debating principles, the up-and-coming debaters have been equipped with a lot of new tools and knowledege ready to conquer the debating scene.
