Tilbury House sent three teams to the European Universities Debating Championship in Zagreb (18.8-23.8). Moritz and Leonard (Tilbury A) reached the ESL quarterfinals as 10th on the tab. They competed against Tel Aviv, Leiden (Worlds Finalist 2013) and Belgrade (Worlds Finalist 2014). In a very narrow debate, the judges could not come to a consensus. The 3-2 split decision unfortunately went against Tilbury House. Sophia and Artem (Tilbury B) and Alice and Linda (Tilbury C) competed in the open competition and achieved good results as well as a great learning experience. Ekatharina and Fabian accompanied the delegation as judges.
