Frederic & Tjark and Leonard & Agnes represented Tilbury House at the Lisbon Open in Portugal, which took place at the first weekend of October.
This is also Tjark’s first tournament – Frederic and Tjark did a decent job and ended up with 7 points and definitely had many great debates!
Leonard & Agnes ranked 3rd on the tab and therefore made the break to the semi-finals. The semi-finals went well for the them, as they made it to the grand final. The motion of the final was: „This house believes that the EU should pursue policies aimed at limiting refugee flows, such as EU-Turkey deal, with other Mediterranean border states.“ They’re also amongst the top 10 Speaker in the tournament – Agnes ranked 7th and Leonard 2nd on the speaker tab.
