Are you interested in the art of argumentation?
Unlike common perception of debating society, debating is not only about politics! Yes, we do often debate about current affairs or international relations topics and that is awesome. But we also debate about many other interesting stuffs, for instance feminism, minorities rights, social issues, philosophy, economics, arts, media and even about pop culture!
We only debate in English with the British Parliamentary style. What great about debating is also that you cannot choose which sides (pro or contra) you want to argue for. It will train you to analyse a (controversial) topic from both sides even if you have a strong opinion about certain issue. The topics will be released 15 mins prior the debate for the teams to prepare.
Also note that you don’t need an exceptional English knowledge to join our society. None of us is native speaker and we’re all here to improve our English. (:
