By now out workshop tackled a lot of common problems and struggles even experienced debaters have to face, and this workshop’s topic is not different.
„Stick to the motion“ will tackle a problem hindering even experienced speakers to make a good speech – By the single mistake of not sticking to the motion. A great speech can fail if it’s not directed towards the topic.
Every motion is worded carefully. In consequence every word matters. Overseeing a small world can lead to debating the wrong topic.
At 7.30 pm. on the evening of 9th May 2019, in Hörsaal XVIIb in the Hauptgebäude of the University of Colgone, our workshop coach Helena Hecke will dissolve this problematic in careful but advancing steps.
