All teams adjusted well to German debating and Moritz and Leonard missed the break to the semi-finals by two team points only.

Fabian & Peter were in a split 4th place together with Münster, but unfortunately did not break to the grand final as they lost a coin toss. Lukas & Leonard ranked 2nd on the tab and made it to the grand final. In a close debate, the adjudication panel saw Amsterdam slightly ahead of the Tilbury House team.
