Paris Open Scholarship

The Tournament:

The Paris Open is an annual debating tournament of the Paris Debating Union, a group of Parisian university debating associations. The organising team behind the Paris Open comprises students from some of France’s most prestigious universities: Paris Descartes, Sciences Po Paris, University Paris Assas, Ecole Centrale de Paris and Telecom Paristech.

The Sponsor:

Jan Schmitz has been the 5^th president of Tilbury House and, together with Assen Kochev, won the first Intervarsity for Tilbury House, the Paris Open 2006. He represented Tilbury House at numerous tournaments and made it into the EUDC finals 2008.
